Tina is a pattern for a fairly short, bolero-style casual jacket. 2 patch pockets are available that you can place vertically or obliquely on the jacket: The raw edges are all finished with bias tape and it is a very quick to sew since it is made up of only 2 pattern pieces!

SIZES:

The Tina jacket pattern goes from size 34 to size 46 (see size chart). Choose your size as usual based on your measurements and the size chart.

If you are hesitating between 2 sizes, choose the larger one because it is easier to adjust a garment than to make it bigger! It is particularly easy to take in the underarm seam to adjust the jacket a little if necessary.

HEIGHT

The pattern is designed for a height of 1m65 

If you need to lengthen or shorten the pattern, the adjustment lines are specified on the pattern. The sleeves should be lengthened simply by extending the bottom sleeve lines.

For my height of 1m60, I removed 2cm from the length of the jacket.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

  • Medium to heavy weight jacket fabrics (200 to 400g/m2) as long as the fabric retains some flexibility.

  • Works great with jacquard and quilted fabrics.

Recommended yardage for fabrics of width 110cm or 140cm

FABRICS width 110cm : T34 and T36: 175 cm / T38 to T46: 190 cm

FABRICS width 140cm : T34 to T38: 150 cm / T40 and T42: 160 cm / T44: 170 cm / T46: 180 cm

You can choose to edge only the outer seams of the jacket but also the inner seams.In each case, the length of bias required (in meters) is given below:

  • External bias: T34: 3.7m / T36: 3.8m / T38: 3.9m / T40: 4m / T42: 4m / T44: 4.1m / T46: 4.2m

  • Internal bias: T34 to 38: 3.5m / T40 to 44: 3.6m / T46: 3.7m

TOTAL BIAS:
T34: 7.2m / T36: 7.3m / T38: 7.4m / T40: 7.5m / T42: 7.6m / T44: 7.8m / T46: 7.9m
