PDF patterns often include multiple file types.

So you order the correct quantity.

We print PDF sewing pattern files only.

How to find your print file

When you download a sewing pattern, you’ll usually receive a few different files.

Look for files labelled:

  • A0
  • Copyshop
  • Print Shop
  • Large Format
  • 36" or 36" x 48"

Avoid A4, Letter or tiled files. These are designed for home printing.

How to check page count

Open your A0, Copyshop or 36" PDF file and check the total number of pages.

If your pattern file has 4 pages, add quantity 4 to cart.

If you are printing more than one file, add the total number of pages across all uploaded files.

Accepted file types

We print PDF sewing pattern files only.

Please upload the large-format print file, not the tiled home-printing file.

If your pattern only includes A4 or US Letter tiled files, this service is not suitable.

Can you print patterns bought elsewhere?

Yes. If you’ve purchased a PDF sewing pattern elsewhere, you can upload the print file and we’ll print it for you.

What file format do you accept?

PDF files only. Please upload the large-format print file, such as A0, Copyshop, Print Shop, Large Format or 36".

How fast is turnaround?

Orders are printed and dispatched from our HQ as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 working days.

Do you check scaling?

Yes, we will print to 100% scale and double check the final printed pattern before sending to you.

What if I order the wrong number of pages?

If something looks off, we’ll do our best to contact you before printing. If you realise after ordering, get in touch as soon as possible by emailing kiaora@patternpress.co.nz.
