About us

Based in Waipū, The Pattern Press is a small famiily run business by the team behind Joan’s Fine Fabric. 

We’ve been working with sewing patterns and printing since 2021, and The Pattern Press is a natural extension of that — with more space to focus on patterns.

Lucy operates the printers, Rupert manages the paper stocks and recycling, Bea is the label application assistant. 

We love sewing, and with access to paper patterns getting more difficult we want to make it easier to find the perfect pattern and start sewing.
