Friends Dress / Blouse

The Friends bohemian dress, elegant and comfortable, is just waiting to accompany you this summer on long walks on the beach, drinks with friends, or beautiful summer evenings.

SIZING:

The Friends dress/blouse pattern is available in sizes 34 to 46.

Choose your size as usual based on your measurements and the size chart. However, please note that for this loose-fitting style, it's primarily the bust measurement that matters.

If you are between sizes, you can choose the smaller size unless you specifically want a very loose fit.

Size Chart:

The pattern is designed for a height of 1.65m (5'5").

Remember to lengthen or shorten the dress or blouse as needed.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

The Friends blouse and dress can be sewn in many different fabrics. You can choose fluid fabrics such as viscose and Tencel, or stiffer fabrics like poplin and linen, which will give your garment more structure and volume.

In the photos, the Friends dress was made:

• in shiny Rainbow Striped cotton (115g/m2) from Cousette

• in Louisiana viscose (135g/m2) from Lise Tailor

• in poplin-type cotton (210g/m2) from Les Coupons de Saint Pierre

The blouse was made:

• in Tencel and organic cotton - Sota Sheer (110g/m2) from MeetMilk

Recommended fabric requirements for a 140cm wide fabric :

• Blouse version:
  Sizes 34 and 36: 150cm / Size 38: 155cm / Size 40: 160cm / Sizes 42 and 44: 170cm / Size 46: 180cm / Sizes 48 to 52: 200cm

• Dress version:
  Sizes 34 to 38: 280cm / Size 40: 290cm / Sizes 42 to 46: 300cm / Sizes 48 to 52: 340cm

Other supplies:

• 2 strips of elastic, approximately 7mm wide, for the sleeves
  The total length required for the 2 sleeves is:
