The Saundra Skirt features a flowy A-line shape, a comfortable elastic waistband, roomy pockets, and an optional lining. Its vertical panels create an elongating effect and allow you to embrace your inner patchwork goddess if desired. The pattern also includes an option to add godets for extra twirl and movement.
Difficulty: Beginner.
Fabric recommendations: For this pattern, I recommend lightweight wovens (between 2-6 oz per square yard) with a moderate or fluid drape. If you are lining your Saundra Skirt and/or adding godets, I highly recommend using lightweight fabrics (especially for the lining itself ) of 4 oz or below. Using thicker fabric can make the lining process and waistband construction quite tricky.
Avoid knit fabrics or fabrics with a lot of stretch.
